Cricket betting at badsha — best markets for BPL, IPL and international matches
From T20 to Test, from the local BPL to ICC tournaments — badsha covers every cricket format for betting. Odds shift as the match progresses, so every over brings new possibilities.
Cricket formats and competitions — what to bet on and where
For fans in Bangladesh, cricket is more than a sport — it is a passion. badsha supports betting across three main formats — T20, ODI and Test — and the distinct nature of each format keeps the betting markets different from one another.
T20 is the fastest format. Any ball can change the course of the game, making it the most popular format for in-play betting. BPL generates huge excitement among Bangladeshi fans each season, and interest in betting on this local league is very high.
In ODI cricket, strategy becomes more important across fifty overs. Markets such as top batsman or highest run-scorer are active in ODI matches at tournaments like the ICC World Cup or T20 World Cup.
Test cricket is the longest format. Over five days the likely outcome becomes clearer gradually, so betting odds shift from day to day. This format has separate markets for match winner, draw and highest innings score.
IPL, India's popular T20 league, is also available at badsha. In addition, ICC international tournaments and Bangladesh Tigers series each have their own markets. Odds are set by considering the two sides as Team A and Team B.
Football and other sports — how they differ from cricket
Alongside cricket, football betting is also available at badsha. In football the result is decided within 90 minutes and a draw is a separate outcome, so the odds structure differs from cricket. In cricket, ball-by-ball statistics — wickets, runs, overs — continuously influence the odds, making them more dynamic than football's goal-based odds. Markets for kabaddi, tennis and basketball are available too, but detailed statistics-based markets like those in cricket are comparatively fewer.
Popular cricket betting markets — what each market covers
Match Winner
Which team will win the match — the simplest and most popular market. In T20 it is Team A vs Team B — just pick one.
All FormatsToss Winner
You can bet on the toss result before the match starts. Place your bet on whichever team — Team A or Team B — you think will win the toss.
Pre-MatchTop Batsman
Pick the batsman who will score the most runs in the match. This market is about which player from Team A will score the highest.
PerformanceTotal Runs Over/Under
Decide whether the total runs scored in an innings will be above (Over) or below (Under) a set line. Example: Over/Under 160 runs.
Runs MarketTop Wicket Taker
Pick the bowler who takes the most wickets in the match. The main focus of this market is which bowler from Team B will perform best.
BowlingMulti Bet
Combining the results of multiple matches into one bet creates a multi bet. If all selections are correct the return is large, but one wrong result means the entire bet is lost — see the odds example below for details.
Multiple MatchesFirst Innings Lead
In Test cricket, this market is about which team will score more runs in the first innings — odds are largely based on the first two days of the five-day match. If Team A leads after the first innings, their match-winner odds for the rest of the match will shorten.
How to read odds — decimal, fractional and American
badsha may display odds in three formats. This can seem confusing for new bettors, but the two examples below make it clear.
Example 1 — Team A wins (৳1,000 stake)
All three formats represent the same outcome. A ৳1,000 stake on Team A winning returns a total of ৳2,500 — that is ৳1,500 profit plus the original ৳1,000 stake back. If Team A loses, the full ৳1,000 is gone.
Example 2 — Favourite Team B wins (৳1,000 stake)
Team B is the favourite, so the odds are lower. A ৳1,000 stake on Team B winning returns ৳1,500 — a profit of only ৳500. In the American format, minus odds (-200) indicate how much you need to stake to make ৳100 profit.
For a multi bet, multiply the decimal odds of each selection together. For example, three selections at 1.40, 1.50 and 1.70 give combined odds of 1.40 × 1.50 × 1.70 = 3.57 (approximately) — a ৳100 stake returns ৳357, but if any selection is wrong the full ৳100 is lost.
Live in-play betting — odds shift when wickets fall
LIVE In-play betting is one of the most engaging aspects of cricket. You can place bets after the match has started, and the odds change with every event in the game.
Say Team A is batting and a Team B bowler takes a wicket in the very first over. At that moment, Team A's match-winner odds will lengthen (because they are under pressure) and Team B's odds will shorten. Similarly, if Team A scores 60 runs in the powerplay, the odds on the total runs over/under market will shift.
In T20 these changes happen very fast — after certain balls the odds can move by 30-40%. In ODI the pace is a little slower, as runs develop over fifty overs. In Test cricket, pitch conditions, weather and fatigue on the fifth day all combine to produce large moves in the odds.
Before live betting, watch the match situation carefully. Rather than feeling pressured to decide after every ball, look for a market where you feel comfortable. Betting is always for entertainment — set a fixed budget and follow the responsible gaming policy.
badsha's mobile app is available on Android (APK) and iOS, letting you follow live matches and place in-play bets on the go. The app is available through official channels.

Practical tips for cricket betting
Focus on one market
Start by choosing one or two markets — such as match winner or toss. Betting on all markets at once splits your attention and makes decisions harder.
Set your budget in advance
Decide how much you will stake per match before you start. After losing a bet, it is better not to try to "win it back" by staking more — betting is for entertainment.
Choose your market based on the format
The total runs market moves more in T20; the match-winner market changes more slowly in Test. Start with the format you have watched the most.
Read the terms and conditions
Before betting, read the badsha terms and conditions. Know in advance what happens to your bet if a match is cancelled or if the result is decided by the Duckworth-Lewis method due to rain.
No rushing in live betting
Odds change very quickly in-play. Rather than rushing to open a market and bet after every ball, look for your chosen market according to your own plan.
